THE SYMBOLISM OF THE DRAGON
Across the East, dragons are magnificent beings of wisdom, power, and benevolence. They are not creatures of fear, but sacred symbols of transformation, protection, and divine harmony.
THE DRAGON GATE (CHINA)
In ancient Chinese legend, the carp that perseveres in climbing the Dragon Gate waterfall is transformed into a dragon. This timeless story teaches that determination, courage, and unwavering faith can elevate us beyond our limitations and awaken our highest potential.
DRAGONS OF WISDOM AND POWER (CHINA)
In Chinese culture, dragons are auspicious guardians and celestial beings associated with imperial authority, wisdom, and harmony. They symbolize yang energy, creativity, strength, good fortune, and the flow of heavenly blessings.
RYŪJIN – LORD OF THE SEAS (JAPAN)
In Japanese tradition, dragons are kami—divine beings who govern the waters, seas, and storms. Ryūjin brings rain that nourishes the land and protects all life, representing balance, abundance, and deep reverence for nature.
DRAGONS IN BUDDHIST TRADITION (TIBET & BEYOND)
In Tibetan Buddhism, dragons are protectors of the Dharma and treasure guardians. They represent profound wisdom, spiritual power, and the ability to transform obstacles into the path of awakening.

WHY I STARTED ASCENDING DRAGONS
For most of my life, I was searching for something deeper. Raised within Christianity, I loved God but often felt that many spiritual communities focused more on what to believe than how to truly transform.
A profound spiritual awakening transformed that understanding from theory into experience. Prayer became communion, meditation became encounter, and I came to see that authentic spirituality requires both devotion and discipline.
Ascending Dragons was born from the desire to bridge that gap. My vision is to preserve the wisdom of the world's great traditions while providing practical tools for modern seekers to awaken the heart, embody divine qualities, and live a life of purpose and service.
